Accessible Web Design for Non-profits
Hey folks, The Gene and Dave Show got our free* web site from this AIR program. AIR is Austin Internet Rally. Teams of professional web designers are assigned to organizations that need web sites. They then compete to build the most esthetic, accessible web site. The Gene and Dave Show, designed by Trademark Media, won first place a few years ago.
Knowbility’s OpenAIR Web Design Contest is accepting nonprofit applications now! Register for the Open Accessibility Internet Rally (OpenAIR) and a team of web professionals super heros will build your nonprofit web site for beauty and accessibility.
AIR provides non-profit organizations with a professionally-designed, accessible website and one year of full hosting services, all for the super-low $100 registration fee. If you have no website, OpenAIR will build you one. If you have a website, an OpenAIR volunteer team will give you a modern design with accessibility features that will make your web site usable by everyone – including people with disabilities.
